Appleton East baseball rolls to home win over Oshkosh North

APPLETON – Appleton East hurler Mason Winkler threw a complete-game four-hitter as the Patriots baseball team defeated Oshkosh North 11-1 in five innings Thursday at East High School.

Winkler struck out six without a walk and allowed just one run.

Appleton East (12-6, 7-5 FVA) scored six times in the third inning to bust it open.

Cade Prestigiacomo had two hits and three RBI, and Rylan Winkler had three hits and scored twice for the Patriots.

Appleton East plays at Hortonville on Friday.
