Appleton East boys basketball drops FVA opener to Kaukauna

APPLETON – Kaukauna shot an efficient 60 percent from the field and defeated Appleton East 87-60 in a Fox Valley Association boys basketball game Friday night at East High School.

Drew Bowers hit six 3-pointers and scored 21 points, and Josh Carl knocked down another four 3s and had 17 points for the Ghosts (2-0 overall and FVA).

Appleton East’s Miles Bertrand led all scorers with 23 points. The Patriots fall to 0-2 and 0-1 in the FVA.

Appleton East jumps right back into action Saturday night with a nonconference game at Bay Port.
