Appleton East boys soccer plays to scoreless tie with Kimberly

KIMBERLY – The Appleton East boys soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie with Kimberly in a Fox Valley Association match Thursday at Gerrits Middle School.

In a game dominated by defense, shots on goal were limited and Appleton East goalkeeper Jack Benz had to make just three saves to keep the Papermakers (0-1-2, 0-0-2 FVA) off the scoreboard.

Appleton East (2-1-1, 1-0-1 FVA) is back in action Tuesday at home against Hortonville. Game time at Pickett Field is 7 p.m.
