Appleton East girls tennis shut out by Kimberly

KIMBERLY – Kimberly did not lose a set and swept Appleton East 7-0 in a Fox Valley Association girls tennis dual Thursday at Kimberly High School.

The Patriots fall to 2-1 in the FVA this season, while Kimberly was playing its conference opener.

Aubrie Erickson won the most games for Appleton East as she dropped her No. 1 singles match to Elise Schreiber 6-3, 6-4.

Appleton East returns to action Tuesday with a nonconference home match against Fox Valley Lutheran beginning at 4 p.m.
