Appleton North baseball grabs road win at Neenah

NEENAH – A five-run third inning propelled the Appleton North baseball team to a 7-4 win over Neenah in a Fox Valley Association game Monday at Neenah High School.
The Lightning broke open a scoreless game with the big third inning, which was fueled by RBI singles from Brennan Otto and Jackson Skorr, and a two-run triple by Colin Reddy.
Teegan Karpinske allowed two runs over five-plus innings, striking out six to earn the pitching win for Appleton North (12-6, 9-5 FVA).
Reddy and Otto each had two hits for the Lightning.
Appleton North returns to action Thursday at Appleton West.
