Appleton North boys basketball eases past Oshkosh West for 11th win in a row

APPLETON – The Appleton North boys basketball team extended its winning streak to 11 with a 60-42 win over Oshkosh West in a Fox Valley Association game Tuesday night at Appleton North High School.
Four North starters scored in double figures, led by Grant Hardy, who had 17 as the Lightning improves to 14-2 overall and 10-1 in the FVA.
Matt Rosplochowski hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 points, and Will Sweeney and Nathan Ramus each had 12 in the victory for North.
Joey Ware led Oshkosh West (4-10, 4-6 FVA) with 11 points.
Appleton North plays at Kaukauna on Friday in the biggest conference matchup of the season thus far. The Ghosts (15-1, 11-0 FVA) topped North 60-59 on a buzzer-beater back on Dec. 16, and holds a one-game lead over the Lightning in the FVA standings.
