Appleton North boys basketball pulls out OT win at Oshkosh North

OSHKOSH – The Appleton North boys basketball team overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half and pulled out an 83-79 win in overtime over Oshkosh North on Tuesday at Oshkosh North High School.
The Lightning surged ahead late before Oshkosh North tied the game on a shot in the final seconds to force overtime, but Appleton North prevailed in the extra period, improving to 9-2 overall and 5-1 in the Fox Valley Association.
Matthew Rosplochowski went 8-for-10 from 3-point range and scored a game-high 34 points to lead the way for the Lightning.
Will Sweeney added 15 points and Nathan Ramus knocked in 12 in the win for Appleton North.
Jackson Anderson had 29 points for Oshkosh North (5-4, 3-3 FVA).
Appleton North hosts Appleton East on Friday at 7:45 p.m.
