Appleton North boys volleyball downs Kimberly in battle of FVA unbeatens

APPLETON – Appleton North outlasted Kimberly in a five-set marathon, winning 3-2 in a battle of Fox Valley Association boys volleyball undefeated teams Tuesday at North High School.

North won 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 24-26, 15-9, to improve to 5-0 in the Fox Valley Association. Kimberly is now 5-1.

Nathan Ramus had 36 kills, Spencer Munson dished out 33 assists, and Sam Kuehl added 15 kills in the win for the Lightning.

Appleton North is off until next Tuesday, Oct. 7, when it will play a FVA match at Fond du Lac.
