Appleton North boys volleyball sweeps Kaukauna, clinches at least a share of FVA title

APPLETON – The Appleton North boys volleyball team clinched no worse than a share of the Fox Valley Association championship with a 3-0 sweep of Kaukauna on Tuesday at Appleton North High School.

The Lightning won 25-19, 25-11, 25-18, to improve to 7-0 in the FVA. Kaukauna drops to 5-2. Appleton North holds a one-game lead over Kimberly in the conference standings with one match remaining.

Nathan Ramus had 11 kills, Spencer Munson dished out 26 assists and Landon Kue had 23 digs to lead North. Howie Guilbeault and Sam Kuehl each added seven kills in the win.

Appleton North will finish its regular season at the Neenah Invitational on Saturday and an FVA match at Appleton East on Monday.
