APPLETON – The Appleton North football team finally made its 2025 home debut and put forth a dominant effort, rolling to a 28-6 win over Oshkosh West in a Fox Valley Association game Friday night at Engen Field at Appleton North High School.

Appleton North quarterback Grant Hardy ran for three touchdowns and the Lightning defense did the rest, holding Oshkosh West (0-4, 0-2 FVA) to just 104 total yards – including only seven rushing – and picked off four passes, three by Cole Hank.

Anthony Reischel added a 39-yard touchdown run for the Lightning, who are now 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the FVA.

Appleton North is home again next week, Sept. 19, against Hortonville.
