Appleton North girls finish second, boys fifth at 2025 FVA Track Meet

KAUKAUNA – The Appleton North girls won four events and placed second at the 2025 Fox Valley Association Track & Field Meet on Monday at Kaukauna High School.
Neenah won the girls title with 164.5 points, with Appleton North second with 161. Appleton East was ninth and Appleton West 10th.
Kimberly took the boys team title with 162 points, double that of second-place Kaukauna. Appleton North took fifth, Appleton East ninth and Appleton West 10th.
Nora Waddell won a pair of FVA titles for Appleton North, taking first in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, and the pole vault with a vault of 11 feet.
Also earning conference titles for the Appleton North girls were Eva Busch in the 1,600 meters (5:01.09), and the 1,600 relay team of Ashley Parrish, Jada Ellis, Sophie Busch and Ava Helmbrecht I4:02.53).
The Appleton North boys picked up one win as the 3,200 relay team of Jeremy Clark, Marek Danielski, Jason Chang and Jacob McGinn won in 8:36.65.
The Appleton East boys had three top three finishes. Collin Hanson took second in the triple jump (44-0), Birk Kozlowicz was third in the 400 (52.05), and the 3,200 relay team of Liam Krainik, Holden Poole, Auden Winkel and Louie Mandich placed third in 8:33.53.
Appleton North will host a WIAA Division 1 regional on Tuesday, May 27, with Appleton East and Appleton West among the teams competing. The top four finishers in each event move on to a D-1 sectional at West De Pere on Friday, May 30.
