Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball cruises to road win at Pulaski

PULASKI – The Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball team squared its season record at 7-7 with an 8-1 victory over Pulaski on Monday.
Post 38 scored three times in the second and fifth innings to pull away and end a mini two-game losing skid.
Logan Hudson picked up the pitching win for Appleton, allowing one run over four innings with six strikeouts.
Mason Peterson had three hits and drove in four with a pair of two-run singles in Appleton’s two big innings. Brennan Otto also had three hits in the victory.
Post 38 will host Kimberly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Don Hawkins Field.
