Appleton United boys lacrosse dominates DeForest in WIAA regional semifinal

APPLETON – Roen Willis scored four goals to lead the Appleton United boys lacrosse team to a 12-4 rout of DeForest in a WIAA regional semifinal Friday night at Appleton East High School.

The No. 8 seed Appleton (12-5) will play at No. 1 seed Wauankee (14-4) on Tuesday.

Elliot Olm and Jaylen Kempfer each added two goals, with Sam Stillwell, Trevin Schultz, Tristan Dean and Ben Wilkes also scoring one apiece for Appleton. Wilkes’ goal was his first varsity goal.
