Appleton United boys lacrosse routs Muskego in season-opener

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys lacrosse team scored in the opening seconds and never looked back, rolling to an 18-2 win over Muskego in its 2025 season-opener Monday night at Appleton East High School.
Elliott Olm won the opening faceoff and scored a goal soon after, part of a 9-0 start for Appleton in the opening quarter.
Trevin Schultz finished with four goals, Tristan Dean and Jaylen Kempfer each had three, and Luke Rheinheimer and Roen Willis both scored twice for Appleton.
Olm, West Post, Rowan Cihlar and Jayden Golding each chipped in a goal in the victory.
Appleton will play at Pulaski on Tuesday as part of a boys-girls doubleheader. The boys game begins at 5:15 p.m. with the girls to follow.
