Appleton United boys lacrosse whips Wausau to move to 6-1 in Bay Valley Conference

WESTON – Roen Willis scored three goal to lead the Appleton United boys lacrosse team to a 11-4 rout of the Wausau Wild on Thursday at Stiehm Stadium at D.C. Everest Middle School.

Tristan Dean, Trevin Schultz and Jaylen Kempfer each had two goals, and Jayden Golding and Sam Stillwell knocked in scores as well for Appleton, which improves to 10-4 overall and 6-1 in Bay Valley Conference play.

Wausau falls to 3-8 and 3-2 in the Bay Valley.

Appleton is back in action Monday with a big Bay Valley Conference game at Kimberly beginning at 7:45 p.m. Kimberly is unbeaten in conference play at 5-0.
