Appleton United girls lacrosse drops home games to West Bend, Wausau

APPLETON – The Appleton United girls lacrosse team lost a pair of overtime games Thursday, falling to West Bend 7-6 and to Wausau 11-10 at Appleton North High School.
Alexis Process, Lyla Cooke, Naomi Konkle and Riley Harris had goals for Appleton, with goalies Rachel Racine and Morgan Muntner each finishing with two saves.
The Bay Valley Conference contest against Wausau was an aggressive game that went into double overtime with the Wolfpack (4-0 Bay Valley) coming out on top.
Appleton goals were contributed by Ally Rhoda, Candice Guerrero, Kailey Heindel, Kayden Smit, Konkle and Harris.
Appleton (2-6, 1-2 Bay Valley) returns to the field on Monday hosting their Youth Night against De Pere/West De Pere at 6 p.m. at Appleton North for another conference matchup.
