Appleton West Co-op boys swim team wins 10 events, takes dual at Oshkosh North/Lourdes

OSHKOSH – The Appleton West/Hortonville/Kaukauna/Kimberly boys swim team won 10 of the 11 swimming events and defeated Oshkosh North/Loudes 109-72 in a Fox Valley Association dual on Tuesday at Oshkosh West High School.

Emerson Middendorp (200-yard freestyle and 100 freestyle), Ethan Bruce (100 butterfly and 100 backstroke) and Ethan Pasholk (200 individual medley and 500 freestyle) each won two individual events for the Appleton West co-op, which is now 1-2 in FVA duals this season.

Hayden Hollenbeck also picked up a win in the 100 breaststroke, and teamed with Middendorp, Bruce and Bauer Seefeldt to win the 200 medley relay (1:48.52), with Ethan Shalkhauser, Pasholk and Seefeldt to take first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:40.93), and with Middendorp, Bruce and Pasholk to win the 400 freestyle relay (3:37.60).

Appleton West/Hortonville/Kaukauna/Kimberly will compete at the Ashwaubenon Invitational on Saturday.
