Appleton West girls golf defeats Oshkosh North for first FVA win

OSHKOSH – The Appleton West girls golf team picked up its first Fox Valley Association win of the season, defeating Oshkosh North 226-236 in a dual meet Thursday at Westhaven Golf Course.

Mariah Frase shot a 53 to win medalist honors and lead the Terrors (1-1 FVA).

Chloe Didreckson added a 56, Piper Weigman shot 58 and Danica LaFave had a 59 to round out West’s scoring.

Appleton West is back in action Monday, playing along with Kiel at the Plymouth Triangular at Quit Qui Oc Golf Course.
