Appleton West softball shut out by Hortonville

HORTONVILLE – Hortonville pitcher Grace Danoski struck out 14 and limited Appleton West to two hits in a 10-0 win for the Polar Bears in Fox Valley Association softball action Thursday at Otto Miller Park.

Ivy Schroeder and Gracin Foytik both had two hits and two RBI to pace the offense for Hortonville (9-7, 6-5 FVA).

Lillian Hanke and Hattie Moscinski scratched out singles for Appleton West’s only offense as it falls to 1-12 and 0-12 in conference play.

Appleton West plays at undefeated Kaukauna on Friday.
