Appleton West’s Didreckson ties for sixth, Appleton East finishes fifth at Fox Valley Association Girls Golf Tournament

APPLETON – Appleton West’s Chloe Didreckson earned a top-10 finish as the Terrors finished seventh at the 2025 Fox Valley Association Girls Golf Tournament on Thursday at Chaska Golf Course.

Hortonville’s Paige Clausen shot an 80 to win the individual conference tournament title by three strokes over Alyssa Schumacher of Kimberly.

Didreckson finished in a three-way tie for sixth with an 89 as the Terrors had a team score of 426.

Hortonville won its first-ever FVA team title with a 349, stopping Kaukauna’s FVA Tournament winning streak at four in a row. Kimberly was second with a 363, with Kaukauna third with a 384. Appleton East finished fifth (421) and Appleton North sixth (422).

Kendall Lindemann tied for 12th with a 93 and Finley Chipman tied for 21st with a 104 to lead Appleton North.

Appleton East’s top golfers were Kahlie Muntner, who finished 15th with a 96, and Ella Baier, to took 19th with a 102.

In addition to Didreckson, Mariah Frase tied for 25th with a 106 for Appleton West.

Appleton East, Appleton North and Appleton West will compete at a WIAA Division 1 regional at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah on Wednesday. The top four teams and top four finishers not on the qualifying teams will move on to a Division 1 sectional at Thornberry Creek Golf Course in Green Bay on Oct. 7.
