Dahlke pours in 29 points to lead Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball past Waupaca

APPLETON – Caleb Dahlke scored a career-high 29 points and hauled down eight rebounds to lead the Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team to a 74-52 nonconference win over Waupaca on Saturday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Dahlke made 12 of 14 shots from the field, including five of six from 3-point range, to help the Foxes improve to 2-1.

FVL made 13 of 20 3-pointers overall and shot a sizzling 59 percent from the field, going 28-for-47.

The Foxes led by six at halftime before a dominating second half as they outscored Waupaca (0-3) 45-29.

Fox Valley Lutheran opens its Bay Conference schedule at Green Bay East on Tuesday.
