Fond du Lac outlasts Appleton East boys basketball

APPLETON – Fond du Lac knocked down 10 3-pointers and defeated Appleton East 68-53 in a Fox Valley Association boys basketball game Tuesday night at Appleton East High School.

Eli Michalkiewicz was 5-for-10 from 3-point range and scored a game-high 19 points for Fond du Lac (2-8, 2-4 FVA).

Evan Schmidt and Miles Bertrand each scored 10 points for the Patriots, who lost their sixth game in a row and falls to 1-9 overall and 0-6 in the FVA.

Appleton East plays at Appleton North on Friday.
