Fox Cities Stars boys hockey blasts St. Mary’s Springs to open conference season

APPLETON – Cale Adamovich scored four goals to help lead the Fox Cities Stars boys hockey team to a 10-1 blowout win over Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs in the Badgerland Conference opener for both teams on Tuesday night at the Community First Champions Center.
Cale Adamovich scored the game’s first three goals and added another in a four-goal third period for the Stars, who improve to 2-0 overall.
Preston McGinnis added two goals, and Andrew Ostermann and Parker Janssen each had a goal and three assists for the Stars.
Fox Cities goalie Elliot Reichenbacher finished with 34 saves.
Fox Cities is back in action Friday against Mequon Homestead at the Ozaukee Ice Center in Mequon.
