Fox Cities Stars boys hockey rolls to shutout win over Manitowoc

MANITOWOC – The Fox Cities Stars boys hockey team scored four goals in each period and rolled to a 12-0 win over Manitowoc United in a nonconference game Friday night at the Manitowoc County Ice Center.

Preston McGinnis had three goals and three assists, and Andrew Ostermann and Cale Adamovich each had two goals for the Stars, who are now 17-3 this season.

Cale Adamovich had four assists and Blayke Adamovich finished with three assists for Fox Cities.

The Stars held a 54-9 shot advantage, with goalie Sam Dardis saving all nine shots he faced.

The Stars host Oshkosh on Tuesday for a Badgerland Conference game at the Community First Champion Center. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
