Fox Cities Stars girls hockey doubles up Madison Metro in regular-season finale

NEENAH – The Fox Cities Stars girls hockey continued its surge to end the regular season, winning for the seventh time in their final eight games with a 6-3 victory over the Madison Metro Lynx on Tuesday at Tri-County Ice Arena.
Kendall Lindemann and Margaret Thomas each scored twice for the Stars, who finish the regular season with a 15-7 record as they head into the WIAA playoffs on a hot streak.
Evie Mursau and Lyla Cooke each scored goals, and Teagan Wilkins had 20 saves in goal for Fox Cities.
The Stars will play a WIAA regional final at Fond du Lac on Feb. 19.
