Fox Cities Stars girls hockey shuts out Stoughton

STOUGHTON – The Fox Cities Stars girls hockey team dominated in its season opener, defeating the Stoughton Icebergs 6-0 in a nonconference game Saturday at Mandt Community Center.
The Stars held a 65-9 shot advantage, putting up at least 19 shots on goal in all three periods.
Margaret Thomas had a hat trick and Kendall Lindemann scored twice for Fox Cities.
Addison Grasse saved all nine shots in goal for the Stars.
The Stars play at Janesville on Tuesday.
