Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball rallies in second half to down Wrightstown

APPPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran overcame an eight-point halftime deficit and defeated Wrightstown 62-50 in a nonconference boys basketball game Thursday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes trailed 31-23 at the break before a dominant second half pushed them to a double-digit win.
FVL outscored Wrightstown 39-19 over the final 18 minutes as Caleb Dahlke scored 13 of his game-high 19 points after halftime.
Gabe Heiges added 12 of his 14 points in the second half as well for the Foxes, who are now 1-1 on the young season.
Jack Genke had 13 points to lead Wrightstown (0-2).
FVL is back in action Saturday for a nonconference game at home against Waupaca. Game time is 7 p.m.
