Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball shoots past Tomah to win WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal

APPLETON – Wyatt Schlueter and Caleb Dahlke each drained four 3-pointers to help lead the No. 3 seed Fox Valley Lutheran to a 64-54 win over No. 6 Tomah in a WIAA Division 2 boys basketball regional semifinal Friday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes (16-9) advance to a Division 2 regional final at No. 2 seed La Crosse Central (21-4) on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Dahlke finished with a team-high 17 points, Gabe Heiges and Braden Heiges each added 14, and Schlueter had 12 in a balanced scoring attack for FVL.
Fox Valley Lutheran made eight 3s in the first half to take a 38-27 lead and were able to hold on from there.
The Foxes finished with 12 3-pointers in all, while Tomah (13-13) had seven, five coming from Owen Laudon who had a game-high 21 points.
