Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball uses hot start to bolt past Menasha

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team came out hot, scoring 50 first-half points, and rolled past Menasha 85-54 in a Bay Conference game Friday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes pulled out to a 27-point lead by halftime and cruised to the win, ending a mini two-game losing skid.
Gabe Heiges scored 20 points, and Caleb Dahlke made four 3-pointers and added 19 points for FVL, which is now 6-3 overall and remains unbeaten in the Bay Conference at 4-0.
Shamir Senyange led Menasha (2-7, 2-3 Bay) with 19 points.
Fox Valley Lutheran is back in action Tuesday at Winneconne.
