Fox Valley Lutheran boys golf finishes sixth at opening NEC Meet

DE PERE – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys golf team opened its season with a sixth-place finish at the first North Eastern Conference Meet of the season on Tuesday at Mid Vallee Golf Course.

The Foxes finished with a team score of 359, 30 strokes behind winner Marinette.

Kaden Kusserow finished fifth overall with a 78 to lead FVL. Gavin Schmidt had a 92, Zaine Weise shot a 93, Ethan Ruppel finished with a 96 and Soren Petersen had a 115 to round out the Foxes scoring.

FVL’s next action will be Tuesday, April 15, at Hilly Haven Golf Course in De Pere for the second NEC Meet.
