Fox Valley Lutheran boys golf takes second at fourth NEC Meet

WAUPACA – Fox Valley Lutheran had its best finish of the season in the fourth meet of the North Eastern Conference Boys Golf Tournament series, taking second on Tuesday at Waupaca Country Club.

Luxemburg-Casco won the team title with a score of 332, three strokes ahead of Fox Valley Lutheran.

Kadyn Riel of Oconto Falls won meet medalist honors with a 75, one shot in front of Wrightstown’s Zach Wendlandt.

Kaden Kusserow tied for third with a 78, and Ethan Ruppel and Carson Gauger both shot 83 to tie for 13th place to lead the Foxes.

Fox Valley Lutheran will compete at a tournament at Hidden Glen Golf Course in Cedarburg on Thursday.
