Fox Valley Lutheran boys golf takes third at fifth NEC meet

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran hosted the fifth meet of the North Eastern Conference boys golf tournament series and placed third on Tuesday at Chaska Golf Course.

Oconto Fals won the team title with a score of 333, six strokes ahead of Luxemburg-Casco. FVL was third with a 345, tying Marinette.

Dylan Clark of Oconto Falls shot an even-par 72 to win meet medalist honors, with teammate Kadyn Riel taking second with a 77.

Kadne Kusserow led Fox Valley Lutheran with an 80 to take fourth place. Ethan Ruppel added an 85, Zaine Weise had an 88, Carson Gauger shot 92 and Quinn Murphy had a 94 as well for the Foxes.

FVL will compete at the Green Lake/Princeton Invitational at Lawsonia Golf Course on Wednesday.
