Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer routs Green Bay East in Bay Conference opener

APPLETON – Ezra Schaser had a hat trick to help lead the Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer team to a dominating 7-0 win over Green Bay East in the Bay Conference opener for both teams on Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes (2-1-1 overall) dominated throughout, outshooting Green Bay East (0-4 overall) 24-6.
Ian Luehring scored in the 11th minute to start the onslaught as the Foxes raced out to a 5-0 lead by halftime.
Schaser scored his first goal in the 17th minute, Kaleb Williams added another three minutes later, and Schaser and Josh Su also scored before halftime as the Foxes took control.
Cameron Williams tacked on another goal 7:20 into the second half and Schaser finished off his hat trick with a goal with 1:53 remaining.
Keaton Enter earned the shutout in goal for FVL, saving all six shots that came his way.
Fox Valley Lutheran is back in action Tuesday at Shawano.
