APPLETON – Kinley Peterson poured in 24 points as the Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team blasted Freedom 70-44 in a nonconference game Saturday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Peterson was 10-for-15 from the field, including 4 of 8 from 3-point range, as the Foxes won their fifth game in a row to improve to 6-1 this season.

Grace Meier added 12 points, and Eden Last had 10 points and six rebounds in the win for FVL.

The Foxes are back in action Monday at Little Chute for another nonconference game.
