Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball slams Freedom to win WIAA Division 2 regional final

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball team wrapped up a Division 2 regional title with a 3-0 sweep of Freedom in a regional final Saturday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

The No. 1 seed Fox Valley Lutheran rolled 25-12, 25-16, 25-18, to advance to a sectional semifinal at home on Thursday against No. 2 seed Luxemburg-Casco.

Alaina Patchett had 11 kills, Kenzie Loberger added 14 assists, 10 digs and nine kills, and Hayden Massonet had 16 assists for the Foxes.

Brianna Stewart and Ellie Hayes each tallied seven kills as well for FVL.
