Fox Valley Lutheran softball moves to 19-0 with rout of Waupaca

WAUPACA – The Fox Valley Lutheran softball team ran its winning streak to 19 and remain undefeated after cruising past Waupaca 14-3 in a North Eastern Conference game Monday at Waupaca High School.

After falling behind 2-1 after one inning, the Foxes (19-0, 15-0 NEC) put up six runs in the second inning, three more in the third and four in the fourth to pull away.

Paige Leavitt earned the pitching win for FVL, striking out three without a walk.

Madison Babcock went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, Avery Steffes drove in two, and Claire Pfrang had two hits and scored twice for the Foxes.

Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Wrightstown on Tuesday and Denmark on Thursday, and completes its NEC season at Freedom on Friday.
