Fox Valley Lutheran sweeps team titles at Bay Conference Cross Country Meet

GREEN BAY – The Fox Valley Lutheran cross country teams swept the boys and girls team titles at the 2025 Bay Conference Cross Country Meet on Saturday at the Shorewood Cross Country Course on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Mason Dobberstein placed fourth in 17:28.1, Zachary Muenster finished eighth (17:38.5), Caleb Williams took 10th (18:24.2) and Henry Laabs was 11th (18:31.4) to lead the way for the Fox Valley Lutheran boys, who finished with 49 points, 20 better than Winneconne. Xavier finished fourth with 114 points.
Xaiver had a pair of top-10 finishers as Jordan Rosenbaum placed fifth in 17:29.7 and Elijah Gottschalk sixth in 17:37.9.
Seymour’s Logan Boehnlein was the boys individual champion, winning the 5-kilometer race in 16:30.5.
The FVL girls also finished with 49 points, with Winneconne second with 54. Xavier was fourth with 95 points.
Fox Valley Lutheran’s Claire Fischer was the girls runner-up, running in 20:18.7, which was 7½ seconds behind girls individual champion Quinn Leroy of Winneconne.
Anna Feuerstahler finished fourth in 21:10.7 and Rowen Volhard took sixth in 21:36.0 to also help the Foxes to the team win.
Xavier’s Nora Erickson placed eighth in 21:54.9 and Noelle Nevins was 11th in 22:01.0.
Fox Valley Lutheran and Xavier will both compete at a WIAA Division 2 sectional at Waupaca High School on Friday.
