FVA baseball leader Kimberly handles Appleton East

KIMBERLY – Kimberly scored four times in the opening inning and that proved to be enough as the Fox Valley Association baseball leaders defeated Appleton East 6-1 on Tuesday at Sunset Park.

Braedon Ellefson hit a home run and drove in three as the Papermakers improve to 11-4 overall and 10-1 in the FVA.

Daniel Dieck had three of Appleton East’s seven hits, and Jackson Bines-Sabrowsky drove in the Patriots’ lone run with a single in the top of the seventh inning.

Appleton East (11-6, 6-5 FVA) is back in action Thursday at home against Oshkosh North.
