FVA leader Neenah downs Appleton East boys basketball

APPLETON – Neenah kept its undefeated record in the Fox Valley Association intact with a 78-41 win over Appleton East in boys basketball action Tuesday at East High School.
The Rockets pulled out to a 34-24 lead by halftime and held Appleton East to just 17 points in the second half to pull away and improve to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the FVA.
Bennett Hron hit three 3-pointers and scored 10 points to lead Appleton East (1-7, 0-5 FVA).
The Patriots will play Seymour at the Kress Center at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on Monday.
