Green Bay Preble outlasts Appleton West football

GREEN BAY – Appleton West could not keep pace with Green Bay Preble and dropped a 34-16 decision in a Fox River Valley Classic Conference North Division football game Friday night at Preble High School.

Connor Navis threw for 251 yards and two touchdowns to Chase Verboomen and Bennett Nelson to lead the Appleton West offense.

Parrion Peace caught eight passes for 107 yards, and Verboomen had five catches for 60 yards, while Charlie Blevins had 61 yards rushing for the Terrors (3-3, 1-3 FRVCC North).

Green Bay Preble (2-4, 1-3 FRVCC North) statistics and scoring plays were not provided.
