Hortonville’s Brantner throws perfect game in win over Appleton West baseball

HORTONVILLE – Braylon Brantner tossed a 72-pitch perfect game as Hortonville shut out Appleton West 9-0 in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Tuesday at Commerical Club Park.
Brantner struck out 10 and sent down 21-straight Appleton West batters. The Terrors fall to 3-12 and 3-9 in the FVA.
Hortonville scored all nine of its runs in the fourth through sixth innings, with Broden Butzin finishing with a triple, a home run and two RBI.
Gary Wuest added three hits and three RBI for the Polar Bears (13-5, 9-3 FVA).
Appleton West will play at Kaukauna on Thursday.
