Kenosha blanks Appleton United boys hockey

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys hockey team was outshot by 40 attempts and dropped a 6-0 decision to the Kenosha Thunder in a nonconference game Tuesday at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
Elliot Davison and Blake Schumann each scored twice for Kenosha (12-7), which held a 56-16 shot advantage.
Brady Boldt made 50 saves in goal for Appleton (4-14).
Appleton United plays a nonconference game at Sheboygan on Friday at 7 p.m.
