Late rally lifts Appleton North baseball past Neenah

APPLETON – Appleton North rallied from a late three-run deficit to top Neenah 6-4 in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Tuesday at Appleton North High School.

Griffin Stan had a two-run single to tie the game, and Brennan Otto knocked in Gus Rieckman and Stan with another hit in a five-run sixth inning to propel the Lightning to the win.

Logan Hudson struck out seven over six innings to earn the win, and Thomas Carew tossed a scoreless seventh to get the save for Appleton North (15-6, 12-5 Fox Valley Assocoiation).

Appleton North travels to Appleton East on Thursday for its Fox Valley Association finale.
