Luxemburg-Casco stymies Fox Valley Lutheran baseball

LUXEMBURG – Fox Valley Lutheran was held to four hits and dropped a 5-3 decision to Luxemburg-Casco in a North Eastern Conference baseball game Tuesday at Luxemburg-Casco High School.

FVL (9-6, 6-4 NEC) took a 2-0 lead in the first inning as both runs scored on a two-out error, before Luxemburg-Casco rallied with two runs in the second and two more in the third to take the lead for good.

Luke Heimerl suffered the loss for the Foxes, finishing with five strikeouts and no walks.

Fox Valley Lutheran will host Xavier on Wednesday before a rematch at home against Luxemburg-Casco (8-3, 6-3 NEC) on Thursday.
