Mukwonago hands Appleton United boys lacrosse first loss of season

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys lacrosse team had its five-game winning streak snapped as it suffered a 10-7 loss to Mukwonago on Friday at Appleton East High School.

Appleton was unable to overcome a number of penalties, giving Mukwonago (4-2) a number of scoring opportunities.

Eli Skrypczak had Tristan Dean each scored two goals, and Roen Willis, Jayden Golding and Trevin Schultz added scores for Appleton.

Appleton (5-1) travels to Middleton on Monday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
