Mursau nets four goals as Fox Cities Stars girls hockey dominates Badger Lightning

REEDSBURG – Evie Mursau scored four-straight goals to help the Fox Cities Stars girls hockey team pull away to defeat the Badger Lightning 6-0 in a nonconference game Tuesday at the Reedsburg Area Community Arena.

Kailey Heindel scored a goal in the first period before Mursau took over, scoring twice in the second period and two more times over the first 8 minutes of the third to give the Stars (6-3) a commanding lead.

Kendall Lindemann, who assisted on two of the earlier goals, added the final score for Fox Cities, which moves its winning streak to four.

The Stars are back in action next Tuesday, Jan. 6, for an Eastern Shores Conference game at Bay Area. The game at Cornerstone Community Center in Ashwaubenon will begin at 7 p.m.
