Neenah blanks Appleton West softball

APPLETON – A pair of Neenah pitchers held Appleton West to one hit as the Rockets earned a 13-0 five-inning win in a Fox Valley Association softball game Tuesday at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.

Kayleigh Johnson struck out eight over four innings of relief to earn the win for the Rockets (15-5, 15-2 FVA).

Addison Edmunds had a triple for the Terrors’ only hit as they fall to 1-14 and 0-14 in conference play.

Olivia McNulty finished with three RBI to pace Neenah.

Appleton West travels to Appleton East for another FVA game on Thursday.
