Notre Dame outlasts Xavier boys basketball in double OT at Majerus/WBY Shootout

MEQUON – Green Bay Notre Dame outlasted Xavier in double overtime, pulling out an 81-77 win in a game at the Rick Majerus/Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout on Monday at Concordia University.

The Hawks led 33-30 at halftime only to see Notre Dame come back to tie the game and force overtime. After the teams each scored 10 points in the first OT, the Tritons held a 6-2 advantage in the second overtime to eke out the victory and improve to 3-3.

Logan Ramczyk had 33 points and five rebounds, and Kyler Bleck had 16 points for Xavier, which falls to 5-3.

Xavier will take on Milwaukee St. Thomas More (3-3) at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in its final game at the Shootout.
