Peterson hits eight 3-pointers to lift Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball past Shawano

APPLETON – Freshman Kinley Peterson knocked down eight 3-pointers and scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team to a 65-50 win over Shawano in a Bay Conference game Friday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Peterson finished 8 of 9 from 3-point range as Foxes went 12 of 22 overall from deep in the home win.

Grace Meier added 11 points, and Brianna Dahlke had 10 points and nine rebounds for FVL, which has won five games in a row and is now 15-3 overall and 8-3 in the Bay Conference.

Shawano falls to 11-7 and 5-6 in conference play.

The Foxes host Menasha for another Bay Conference game Tuesday at 7 p.m.
