Shawano slips past Fox Valley Lutheran girls soccer

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls soccer team dropped its third-straight game to start the season, losing its home opener to Shawano 3-2 on Tuesday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Kyleigh Huza and Alaina Schmidt scored goals for the Foxes (0-3), with Gia Bay adding an assist.

FVL goalkeeper Sabrina Schmidt finished with six saves.

Fox Valley Lutheran will host Green Bay Southwest for another nonconference contest on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
